At Sepia, we make every effort to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions when notified in advance. Our prix fixe menu can accommodate many of the most common allergies and dietary needs. Please include any allergies or dietary restrictions in your reservation notes at the time of booking. Please note that certain combinations of allergies or dietary restrictions may limit our ability to provide the full dining experience.
While our culinary team will do everything possible to accommodate your needs, some ingredients ar integral to prepared dishes and cannot be removed or substituted. Additionally, we source certain products and ingredients from manufacturers around the world, some of which may not operate in allergen-free facilities. As a result, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of cross-contact or trace allergens.
Due to the nature of our menu, we are unable to accommodate vegan or egg-free dietary restrictions for our Tasting Menu.

Reservations cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled reservation time are subject to a $35 per person cancellation fee.
Reservations may be rescheduled to an available date with at least 7 days' notice. Reservations may be rescheduled up to two times. Sepia reserves the right to apply the full cancellation fee if a reservation is cancelled after a second reschedule.
Booking a reservation confirms acceptance of these policies.

When reserving an OUTDOOR table, please note that seating is weather-dependent. While we will make every effort to accommodate you indoors in the event of inclement weather, indoor seating cannot be guaranteed. Patio reservations may need to be rescheduled or canceled due to rain or other severe weather conditions.

The dining times below are approximate and assume a reservation begins as scheduled. Late arrivals and the restaurant's pace of service may affect the overall duration of your experience.
Prix Fixe Menu: Approximately 2 to 2½ hours
Tasting Menu: Approximately 2½ to 3 hours

We do not have a formal dress code. We simply ask that guests dress in a manner appropriate for the dining experience.

Reservations are released on a rolling basis approximately two months in advance.

We are happy to hold your table for up to 15 minutes after your reservation time. Please note that late arrivals may result in an abbreviated dining experience.

Yes. Corkage is $75 per 750ml bottle, with a limit of two bottles per table.

Yes. All guests, regardless of age, are expected to participate in the full dining experience.

Yes. Private Dining by Sepia accommodates groups of 12 to 60 guests in our dedicated event space. For availability and pricing, please contact events@sepiachicago.com.

A suggested 20% gratuity is automatically added to parties of six or more. If you prefer to leave a
different gratuity, please let us know, and we will gladly remove the suggested amount.
A 3.5% employee health and wellness surcharge is also added to all guest checks to help offset the cost of employee health insurance.

Guests with mobility needs are encouraged to note this in their reservation or contact us in advance. We are happy to arrange ADA access through our adjacent accessible entrance with elevator service.

Photography is welcome. To preserve the dining experience for all guests, we ask that you refrain from using flash photography or recording video without prior approval.
Smart glasses and other wearable recording devices are not permitted in the dining room.
Service and accessibility devices are always welcome. If there is anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable, please don't hesitate to let us know before your reservation.

Metered street parking is available on Jefferson Street and Randolph Street. At this time, Sepia does not offer valet parking.

While dogs are not permitted inside the restaurant under local and state health regulations, trained service animals are always welcome.
Emotional support animals are not recognized as service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and therefore are not permitted inside the restaurant.
